Update on Life and some on Sports

Spent the weekend in South Haven, Missisppi for the GSC Tournment(Gulf South Confernce) for the UAM(Unviresty of Arkansas-Monticello) and other schools who made it into the play-off for Basketball. Both the Cotton Blossoms(the girls team) and the Boll Weevils(the boys team) went.

Starting with the Boll Weevils, they won there first game in the bracket, but lost in their second. I don't remember scores. But they fought hard. Last, I heard they could maybe possiblely get a bid for the Sweet-Sixteen Dividson 2 game next week. (I am still waiting on offical word, on if thet got in).

The Cotton Blossoms, won their first bracket game, won their second bracket game, and went on to play on Sunday for GSC Champhsip against Delta State.(That's in Mississpi). During their second game in the bracket one of the players made a 3-point shot with .6 to spare in the game bring the game into overtime. That shot, help the Blossoms, get into the Champship on Sunday! It was hard fight, and that game to was also very close. The game on Sunday(today) went into overtime. The final score was 67-65. They lost by two points. That game to was also a very close game and very well played! It was very exicting. From what I understand.. and I could be wrong, with the blossoms ranking going into the game this weekend and playing higher ranked teams and winning the first two. The get to play in the sweet sixteen game coming up next weekend. From what I hear the game will be played at Delta State, since they won the GSC Champship.

They may even get to get into the elite 8, which will be played in san tantio at the end of March! So we shall see. The blossoms really are a great team! I am proud of them!

I had a lot of fun dressing up in a fuzzy green suit and dancing around like a crazy nut! And even when I wasn't cheering I was having fun, outside of the games. I would say the best part of the trip was when I went to Chuckie e. Cheese. I won like 240 tickets, I got cool ball that is stuff and a swrill straw! Even the other cheerleaders had fun to! I want to go back to chuckie e. chesse

This weekend my mother calls me and told me tha my sister moved out of the house this week and moved in with her boyfriend. (Please do not comment on this). So my mom and my dad are now moving across the street to a condo! I will get the upstairs loft. It's open to the down stairs. But, in a way I will have my own space. Where I can escape... I am gonna try to figure out how to create some privacy so that people can just look up and see my room. But, hey... I am gald about that! We will be moving the week I have spring break or the week after(when I am back at school).

This week is midterms. I am not ready for my spanish test, think I am ready for my ethic mid-term and well, I am not sure bout my english.( I really do need to work on that). And then it's spring break, I am so ready for that.

I think that is all the exiticing news in my life right now.

My Weekend

Friday I started my weekend getting back my english test that I failed! And ended up with out notice retaking the test the same day, did I mention that it was the same test?. Tonight I start the task of going through my bad test and looking up all the correct answers.

Saturday..(That's today for another 24 mins!) Today was a basketball game, both the girls and guys team won of course! YAY for them, they are going to the play off this week! It was a lot of fun! I had a blast!

Then me and Penny went to the Red Barn on campus and wacth a movie called, "Tyler Perrys-Family that Preys" it was a great movie! Penny and I shared a whole box of cheese pizza!

The movie had a song in there that I hadn't heard in a long time, called "I hope you dance," it made me think. About when I first heard it and that no matter what happens in my life that I just need to dance and it's going to be okay.

The movie also had a good question about life, "Are you mearly living your life or just existing?" I can say at one point in my life I was just existing and now I am living my life, well trying to at least.

The movie also made me cry! But it was good I need it!

Oh, and did I mention that it snowed some tonight? I was soo happy.. I even caught a snowflake on my tonuge.. it didnt really stick, but hey I didn't care it snowed! It was exactly a year ago today that it snowed! But last year we got more snow! With out a doubt it always snows in my birthday month!

But, Penny and I had a great time! I had soo much fun today! It was a good day!

Zoom, Zoom, Zoom

Out of all the words in the English Languge I think that best fits me right now. My life right now is zooming by. It's around 3 weeks till spring break for school. (WOW) And Febuary feels like it's all ready over!

This past weekend I went home to see my family! It was a lot of fun. I meet up with a friend and it was great! I had a good time!

I know I havent been blogging much and for that I am sorry. To be honest I haven't written much in my other jounral either. Time has just been basically zooming by. It's already wednesday and I am not ready for the weekend just yet.

I wish I would have more time to do things. Life just zooming by with out me.

Happy 23 Birthday To Me!

Today I am 23! I made another trip around the sun! Yay!

Theses two balloons I bought, my friends Jazz and Adair tried to say I will buy for you but I would not let them. :) I thought they were really pretty and shinny!

My friend Nika drew henna on my hand. I have never had henna before I think its pretty cool!

My friend Jazz got me a book called, "The 2,548 best things anybody has ever said." Its got some pretty cool quotes in it! I got some lotation called, Warm Vanilla Sugar, from someone at chruch. And my friend Sarah got me a funny card.

I still don't like having my b-day on Sunday. But its okay. I am going to order Pizza tonight.... well that is the plan anyways. Or maybe I will see if one of my friends wants to go to McD for dinner.

Over all it was a good day. I had a lot of birthday wishes on my facebook and that made me smile and feel better. And my friend Jazz made a pretty sign for my door. It was a cool thing to come home to after church.

I get to go home this coming weekend so I am really exicted about that!

January ends and Febuary starts

Greetings Family, Friends and Blog Readers:

Well schools been for nearly 3 weeks now. It's going well. I am really enjoying my classes. I am keeping up with my readings for the most part. So that is good. I am a little worried about my Spanish Classs this semester, becasue it's gotten a tad bit harder because I am learning more spanish grammer.

Let's see what else is happening in my life? Not much. Everything pretty much the same old same old.

I am going home a Valintines Day Weekend so I am really, really exicted. Oh, and I'll be 23 soon! WOW, YAY!

Crickett to the Rescue

Well... tonight my friends Pam and Jasmine had to go tutor some kids tonight. Only they didn't make halfway there. Because Jasmines car died on a bridge, less than a mile from my school. So, Pam calls my dorm phone cause I didn't answer my cell because I was on the phone with Brittany M. And Pam says they need my help... she needed me to drive her green SUV to where they were at to try to jump them off. I grab my purse and dorm keys and head out the door.
Pam told me where here car keys where and I got them.

Now for some peole this really won't be a problem. But, you see I just renewed my liceness and I can drive, just backing up cars kinda worries me. But, I pulled out and drove, while talking on speaker phone. It was great. Expect for the retard tha desided to eat my butt on a road that was 35 and I was going like 40! And then when I got to the bridge I had to turn the car around to face the direction that Jasmine car was facing. I did it. And I am proud of of myself!

I can drive! I can drive!

And I actually loved driving Pam's big car! It's really easy to drive! :D I am proud of myself!
