Summer 2018

It has been two years since I last gave any kind of update. To be honest, I am not to sure if I have any followers. I mainly give updates on Facebook to friends and family, which is why I haven’t been around much that and chasing a toddler is never ending, but I would no change it for the world.

I am still here

It has been way over a year since I last updated my blog. I haven't forgotten about you. I just have been busy being a mom and wife; but nloving every moment of it.

Hubs and I have been married for almost 7 years, his brother Hunter is on a mission in South America to a year now and Tucker is a busy active 3 year old.

Last fall Johns grandmother passed away last fall(2015).

Now for some ramblings in my head.

Lots of thoughts going through my head. Right now as I blog they have the twilight series on TV. It first came out after Derek died when in was in college. And even almost ten years later I still have a crush on Edward.

Love is powerful, love is real, sometimes love hurts and sometimes its strong. Perhaps even sometimes one has to learn what love is not to learn what love is. Love can even reach from heaven.

it's been to long since a update

It 's been awhile  since I last wrote life is busy being a mom ,being a wife, working full time ,cooking ,cleaning and all that jazz but I wouldn't change it for a minute. The Dean family is doing well. in March John and Brittany went on a cruise. they went to Roatan Honduras and Belize City and Cozemale they were gone for 7 days and they left the baby with the grandparents. Brittany is ready to plan the next cruise.

Brittany has been doing a deep clean of the apartment and getting rid of stuff they no longer need . Brittany has been trying to declutter her life as the world objects cannot come with us when we die.

John has been thinking about going back to school. he hopes to study some type science. he really likesgeology and the study of the stars in the sky that is.

Tucker is growing fast. he goes to Nursery at church and loves it. he is learning and can climb into his pack pack and play. he loves to pull out the pot and pan and play with them. he is learning and walking more. he still only says mama he loves water and laughing. we have found he love to sit in his rocking chair and read stories to himself.

If there is any grammar errors is because I am voice speaking this to my phone to type it for me. technology don't you love it. hope to write more have a great day and find something to get rid of.

Adventures in Georgia: funeral

This past week we traveled to GA for my grandfathers funeral(I called him Papa). When we weren't doing funeral things we hung out with the family. I was able to visit the outside of my old house that I grew up in in Georgia, visit Stone Mnt. (a huge granite rock that has been there for hundreds of years and has some historical value to the civil war) and celebrate Tuckers first birthday with my parents and family in Georgia. We also were able to get a 4 generation picture with my grandmother. Below are some pictures from the weeks events.

Robin Williams

I always said I would cry when Robin Williams or Tim Allen died.  Yesterday Aug. 11th, Robin Williams left this world all to soon.

Only I didn't cry. I was in shock. I didn't think he would die this soon there was still laughter to share.  He played many roles. He reminded me of my dad.

He was our genie, our dad driving us around in the RV(the rolling turd), he was our Nanny in Mrs.Doubtfire, he was our  kid brother who got go stuck in to the game known as Jumangi, he was our professor that created the green dancing blob in Flubber, he was our news man with good morning vitname, he taught us that penguins can dance and  is so much more to us.

May we always remember to laugh, to be ourselves and to take chances.

10 and 11 months: life with Tucker

 July we saw fireworks. Learned how to pull himself up in the bath tub and crib.

Tucker at 11 months old August 2014.  Tucker is talking more of his baby talk. He is pulling himself up on whatever he can. He has had 4 hair cuts,  laughs and his happy. He is eating more big people food: like today he had grilled cheese, bananas, and gold fish. He ate it all. Hard to believe my little baby won't be a baby anymore, he'll soon be a toddler.

Mirror

When you look in the mirror do you know who you are? Do you know that God Loves You? Do you know that he sees more in you than you see in yourself? Why not take a good look in the mirror and see who God has designed you to be- Amazingly you!

9 Month of Tucker

9 months old and Tucker is growing up fast. I miss his little baby stage. But I am enjoying his new stages. He is such a happy baby.  He enjoys food, crawling and pulling things off the bookshelf. He still loves the water... he truly is my little Frog.

This month we went to the beach to see my parents and my grandparents. Tucker tried to eat the sand but loved floating in the ocean in his float. He even almost fell a sleep in his float in the water.  I wish I had a water camera to get a pictures of him in the ocean.

Summer Time!

It has been a few months since I really last wrote. Being busy is an understatement. I thought working two jobs and volunteering last summer was insane. Being a mom, well that just a whole different game! I play mom, full-time worker, house keeper, wife, and whatever hat needs to be filled.

In my life, work is work. It's simply that. I work in bankruptcy. What it has taught me pay off your debt as fast as you can and try not to let it get out of hand. And if you have to claim it take a breath it will be okay and know you will not be the only one to claim nor will you be the last.

I just take work one day at time and try my best to keep my head up. Remembering that God is in control.

Little Boy is growing so fast. He has two teeth, loves to laugh, talks to himself and even tries to blow kisses. He stays pretty happy most of the time.  He is a good little sleeper. He still army crawling.

John is working hard and enjoying his role as dad. He loves playing with little boy and taking naps together.

Summer is finally here. We plan to spend time at the pool, eat snow cones and go visit the grandparents at the beach.

Not much longer and little boy will be one years old! hard to believe my little man is growing so quickly!

Year End Review 2013

Year-end review 2013

A tradition that start over 7 years go giving my year-end review of highlights from the year.

Jan.

I find out that I am pregnant!

I get told at work I am being moved to another department and will be doing a new job and going full time.

Feb.

My sister and I go to Disney world to celebrate my moms and my birthday.

March

The hubby and I celebrated are 3^rd wedding anniversary!

April

On Tax Day we found out that we were having a little boy! We celebrate by telling John’s family with a cake that had blue icing inside.

May

Work. Doctors. Work. Work. Not much happened this month…

June

The first part of June is the last time in Serve as Temple Worker in the Dallas Temple. I will still go as patron. I plan to go back and work when my kids are grown…

July

We head toward Huston, Texas for John’s family reunion. We also go to the beach one morning.

I have a baby shower and my mom comes to see me.

August

Brittany McGee comes to see me and go to the Mary Kay Convention.

We have a big meeting at work and they are changing are job again. The meetings bring happiness and sadness. Some are laid off.

September

I have my first baby, boy. I didn't even know I was in labor. It was an exciting time! 

Tucker is born on 9-9-13!

October

It’s Tucker’s first Halloween. We go trunk or treating with him at our ward’s party and John’s old family wards party.

November

We take Tucker on his first road trip-to Arkansas- and he sleeps the whole way! We stay with Uncle Jerry and Cha-Cha and see my old school friends and branch members. Then we head to Louisiana to see more of John’s family.

We take Tucker on his First Plane ride to Georgia to see my grandparents.

December

We go to Disney World with Tucker!  We also get his first haircut of which he slept thru. Tucker rides, Haunted Mansion, Winnie The Pooh, Small World and Dumbo!

John and I go to Epcot with out Tucker and ride the new test track ride and walk around Epcot some before going to meet up with my parents and baby for Mickey Mouse Christmas party.

I head back to work after my leave from having Tucker. We also gear up to celebrate Tucker’s first Christmas!

A lot has happened this year and more is to come in 2014!
